Is the 2025 Lincoln Navigator the Best SUV Ever? Find Out Now!

The full-size luxury SUV market is growing fast, and the iconic Lincoln Navigator is facing new competitors. In the first quarter of this year, Lincoln’s SUV saw a 25% drop in sales compared to the same period in 2023, causing concern within the company.

But fear not—Lincoln is planning big updates for the 2025 Navigator, promising significant changes inside, outside, and maybe even under the hood. Let’s dive into what we can expect from the new luxury SUV.

Exterior Upgrades

The 2025 Navigator will adopt the sleek design language seen in its smaller siblings, the Aviator and Nautilus. Expect a larger and more rounded grill, while the headlights, though still under wraps, are likely to be slimmer and more stylish.

The rear will feature an LED strip linking the tail lights, and a more muscular exhaust under the bumper. Although the prototype had a plain design, the production version will be anything but boring.

Interior Enhancements

Inside, the 2025 Navigator will boast a new interface with a massive screen. Similar to the redesigned Aviator, a 13-inch screen will take center stage on the dashboard. Many Google products, including Assistant and Maps, will be integrated for a seamless tech experience.

The luxury Black Label model will replace the middle row bench with captain’s chairs, and will carry over the Central Park interior theme, while older trims like Yacht Club and Chalet might be phased out.

Under the Hood

The 2025 Navigator will continue with the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine, producing 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. However, it faces stiff competition in towing capacity from the Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

To reclaim its crown, Lincoln’s engineers are focusing on a new hybrid system inspired by the successful F-150 truck.

This hybrid setup will boost the torque to 580 lb-ft while maintaining 430 horsepower. Plus, it promises better fuel efficiency, with the hybrid Navigator achieving up to 23 miles per gallon depending on the configuration.

Size Matters

Lincoln and other brands like Ford and Chevrolet are also developing long wheelbase versions of their full-size SUVs. The latest Cadillac Escalade ESV, for example, is 227 inches long—6 inches more than the current Navigator.

This translates to an extra 22 cubic feet of cargo space, offering significant room for all your gear.

Pricing and Trim Levels

The 2025 Navigator will still feature the Premiere as the entry-level model, the Reserve as the mid-range choice, and the Black Label as the top-of-the-line package. However, the redesign and new features come at a cost.

The starting price for the 2025 Navigator will be around $90,000, with the Reserve trim exceeding $100,000 and the Black Label reaching approximately $125,000. If you opt for the long wheelbase version, expect to add an extra $3,000 to the Reserve and Black Label trims.

In conclusion, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator is set to make a big splash in the luxury SUV market with its stylish design, tech upgrades, and improved performance. Keep an eye out for its release as Lincoln aims to reclaim its position at the top.
