The Marlboro Edition truck was created as a prize for a contest held by Marlboro racing in 1992. Only 10 of these trucks were made, each boasting unique features that distinguish them from the regular Cyclones.
Painted in Mar B red instead of the standard black, these trucks featured a removable roof panel, Boyd Coddington wheels, Recaro leather seats, and a Momo steering wheel. With the same turbocharged V6 engine and all-wheel drive system as the regular Cyclone, these trucks were exceptionally fast and powerful, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 in just 4.3 seconds and even beating sports cars like the Ferrari 348 in a drag race.

The Ram SRT 10 Nightrunner Edition, born in 2006, is not just a sport pickup truck but a legend. Dodge created this special edition of the SRT10 with a dark and stealthy look, planning only 400 units but producing about 370.
Each truck had a numbered plaque on the console to signify its uniqueness. With an 8.3 L V10 engine producing 500 horsepower and 525 torque, it could go from 0 to 60 in less than 5 seconds. Its sporty and aggressive stance made it a standout on the road.
Fous Edition: Style and Performance
The Fous Edition resulted from a collaboration between Ford and Fous, aiming to combine style and performance. Designed by Chip Fous, a famous car customizer and TV personality, it was launched in 2008 as a limited edition of 500 units.
The Fous Edition featured a unique body kit, graphics, interior, and wheels, giving it a sporty, lowered look. Powered by a supercharged 5.4 L V8 engine delivering 450 horsepower and 500 torque, it was the most powerful Halton truck on the market at the time. Introduced in 1975, the GMC Gentleman Jim was one of the first luxury trucks on the market. Based on the GMC Sierra Classic C-15, it featured a black and gold paint scheme, vinyl bucket seats, a wood grain dashboard, power steering, and air conditioning.
Powered by a 4-barrel 350 V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission, only 2,500 units of this rare and iconic vehicle were produced. It was also the predecessor of the GMC Bo James, another special edition truck launched in 1976 with a blue and silver theme.
GMC Amarillo GT: Performance-Oriented Appeal
Offered in 1979, the GMC Amarillo GT was designed by American Coach Corporation to appeal to the performance-oriented market. This special edition pickup featured a yellow, orange, and red paint scheme with stripes, a front air dam, a roofline spoiler, finned wheels, side exhaust pipes, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
With a choice of two powerful V8 engines—a 4-barrel 350 or a 4-barrel 454—the Amarillo GT was one of the fastest trucks of the time, running quarter miles in 15.6 seconds.
Only a few hundred of these trucks were made, making them very rare and collectible today.
Chevrolet Snow Chaser: Designed for Winter
Introduced in 1984, the Chevrolet Snow Chaser was designed for the winter conditions of the Midwest and other snowy regions. It featured a distinctive red and black paint scheme, a custom bed fairing, spotlights over the cab, and Snow Chaser decals on the sides and tailgate.
Based on the Chevrolet K1500 Scottsdale model, it came with a 5 L gas engine and a four-speed automatic transmission. Only about 2,500 of these trucks were made, and they are very rare today due to rust and exposure.

In 1998, Ford capitalized on NASCAR’s booming popularity by introducing the F-150 NASCAR Edition. This truck embodied the spirit of “win on Sunday, sell on Monday” perfectly.
It featured aggressive looks with a mesh grill, a subtle 1-inch drop, dual exhaust tips for a throatier sound, and a front air dam mimicking the aerodynamics of a real race car.
Though the 231 horsepower 4.6 L V8 didn’t break land speed records, the choice between a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual provided a true driver’s experience. Only 3,000 of these trucks were made, mainly available in the southeastern US where NASCAR was popular.
Dodge Dude Sport Trim Package: The True Granddaddy

It featured an all-over sea stripe in black or white wrapped around the body, unique Dude branding on the rear box, and classic dog dish hubcaps with shiny trim rings.
Sadly, only between 1,500 and 2,000 Dudes ever roamed the roads, and even fewer remain today. Spotting one is witnessing a true automotive legend with a name that perfectly captures its laid-back iconic spirit.
