You Won’t Believe the 55-Inch LCD in Cadillac’s 2025 Escalade!

Welcome to Neftin Team’s exclusive review of 2025 Cadillac Escalade—a refresh that’s set to redefine luxury in the SUV segment. Today, I’m coming to you from a hotel in Detroit, where Cadillac has just unveiled a treasure trove of information about their flagship vehicle. If you’re in the market for an Escalade, hold that thought! There’s a lot to unpack that might make you reconsider your current choice.

Exterior Design Changes

The 2025 Escalade is not a full redesign but a significant refresh. From the outside, the new Escalade takes inspiration from the upcoming Escalade IQ, Cadillac’s full-electric luxury SUV. While the basic body-on-frame structure remains intact—boasting three rows of seats and the option of short or extended wheelbases—the exterior has been subtly updated.

One notable change is the discontinuation of the diesel engine option. If you were hoping to get a diesel-powered Escalade, you’re out of luck—the option ended with the 2024 model year. However, the diesel engine remains available in GMC and Chevy models, highlighting Cadillac’s strategy to differentiate its vehicles more distinctly.

Engine Options and Performance

For those who crave power, the 2025 Escalade offers a choice between two impressive engines. The standard 6.2L naturally aspirated V8 churns out 420 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and available in either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

If you’re after even more muscle, the 682-horsepower supercharged 6.2L V8 engine will be available in the Escalade V and V ESV trims. With these options, Cadillac continues to cater to both performance enthusiasts and luxury seekers.

Where the 2025 Escalade truly shines is inside. The cabin is redesigned with a focus on high-tech luxury. A standout feature is the dual LCD setup in the dashboard, totaling a staggering 55 inches of screen real estate. The driver’s side sports a 35-inch touchscreen LCD, while the passenger side features a 25-inch LCD, complemented by AKG speaker modules on either end to create an immersive experience.

The driver’s display provides a clear view of essential information, including speed, navigation directions, and media details. Meanwhile, the central infotainment portion includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and access to the Google Play Store, allowing for app downloads directly into the system.

The passenger side LCD is one of the largest and most functional displays we’ve seen, supporting streaming video services, a web browser, and HDMI input.

In addition to these screens, there’s another display in the middle of the dashboard. Though Cadillac hasn’t specified its size, it’s likely around 12 inches and will manage climate controls, seating adjustments, and various vehicle settings.

Features and Upgrades

The 2025 Escalade is packed with features. Super Cruise will be standard across all trims, providing a significant boost in driving convenience. Optional extras include night vision and a heads-up display, available in trims like Premium Luxury Sport and the V series.

Power-closing doors and a high-fidelity audio system with up to 40 speakers (if you opt for the executive second-row package) further enhance the luxury experience.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing details for the new Escalade are yet to be announced, but with its array of new features and improvements, expect it to be priced higher than the outgoing model. The 2025 Escalade is set to go on sale in 2024, with more precise pricing likely revealed in late summer or early fall.

As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts! What do you think of the new Escalade? Are there any features you’re particularly excited about? Drop your comments below and let us know what you’d like us to cover next.
