A Closer Look at the 2025 Audi Q3 Redesign

If you’ve been eyeing the Audi Q3 Gasoline Version and contemplating a purchase, you might want to act fast. The 2025 Audi Q3 is set to be the last model in Audi’s lineup to run on gasoline, as the brand transitions to an all-electric future post-2026.

The 2025 Q3 is more than just a farewell gesture—it’s a comprehensive redesign. This new model will sport a bold, refreshed look with a larger, more angular grille that features a hexagonal pattern and a prominent Audi logo.

The headlights will be split into two sections, incorporating thin LED strips on top and larger lamps below. At the rear, a horizontal LED bar will connect the taillights, creating a more streamlined and aerodynamic appearance.

Inside, the Q3 will see a major upgrade with a larger touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and an array of new safety and convenience features.

Expect adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, parking sensors, wireless charging, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin will also offer premium amenities, including leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a high-quality sound system.

Engine & Performance

The most significant change for the 2025 Q3 lies under the hood. Audi has announced its commitment to phasing out internal combustion engines after 2026, focusing solely on electric vehicles. As a result, the 2025 Q3 might be the last of its kind to feature a gas-powered engine, and it could potentially come with a hybrid option.

Although details are still forthcoming, it’s possible the Q3 will adopt a mild hybrid system that combines a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a 48-volt electric motor. This setup would enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions while maintaining the powerful and smooth performance the Q3 is known for.

Exciting Possibilities

There are also exciting rumors about additional variants of the 2025 Q3. Audi may introduce a coupe-like version, known as the Sportback, which would feature a sloping roofline and a sportier stance. While this model is already available in Europe, it has yet to make its debut in the U.S. market.

Additionally, Audi is working on a high-performance RS Q3, equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine generating 400 horsepower. However, this model is unlikely to be offered in the U.S., as it would compete with the larger and more expensive Audi SQ5.

When to Expect the 2025 Q3

While the exact release date for the 2025 Q3 is not confirmed, it is anticipated to arrive in late 2024 or early 2025. There is also a possibility that Audi might skip the 2025 model year entirely and introduce the next Q3 as a 2026 model.
