2026 Genesis GV70 to Sport a Massive New Interior Screen

The Genesis GV70, a popular compact luxury SUV, is set to receive significant updates for its 2026 model. Genesis has announced the incorporation of a substantial 27.0-inch widescreen OLED display into the SUV’s interior, marking a revolutionary upgrade from previous models.

The screen, designed to enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal, will serve as a combined digital gauge cluster and central infotainment system.

Scheduled for release in the United States in the 2026 model year, this updated GV70 has already garnered attention for its interior redesign and subtle yet impactful exterior modifications.

The front of the vehicle showcases reshaped headlights, a redesigned grille pattern, larger air intakes, and a revamped lower bumper. The rear design complements these changes with integrated turn signals in the taillights and a fresh 19-inch wheel design.

In addition to the standard modifications, the Sport trim level of the GV70 will feature a layered grille pattern, a rear diffuser, dark-chrome exhaust tips, and new 21-inch wheels.

The interior of the Sport trim will also stand out with a flat-bottom steering wheel and distinctive orange stitching, adding a touch of sportiness and exclusivity.

Despite the significant aesthetic and functional enhancements, Genesis has indicated that there will be no major alterations to the GV70’s powertrain options in the 2026 model.

The vehicle will continue to offer a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four and a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Further updates, including those for the Electrified GV70, Genesis’s electric variant, are expected to follow.

The 2025 model of the GV70, which is currently available in the U.S., does not include these updates, making the upcoming model highly anticipated.

Genesis aims to introduce the refreshed GV70 in Korea next month, with U.S. customers having to wait a bit longer for its arrival.
