Ford has dropped prices for its 2024 F-150 Lightning electric truck to stay competitive with the Chevrolet Silverado EV. The price cuts, effective from April 5th, make owning an electric pickup more affordable.
Here are the new prices for the 2024 Ford Lightning:
- Pro (Standard Range): Still $54,995
- XLT (Standard Range): Now $62,995 (was $64,995)
- Flash (Extended Range): Now $67,995 (was $73,495)
- Lariat (Extended Range): Now $76,995 (was $79,495)
- Platinum (Extended Range): Still $84,995
These cuts make the Lightning more attractive, especially with the Flash and Lariat trims seeing significant reductions.
Buyers can still get the full $7,500 federal tax credit if the Lightning’s price (excluding destination charges) stays below $80,000.
Ford’s move comes as it clears out 2023 models and introduces new features for 2024, like the Platinum Black model and BlueCruise 1.2.
