2026 Detroit Auto Show

The 2026 Detroit Auto Show runs from January 14 to 25 at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit, featuring media days, industry events, a charity gala, and a public showcase. Organized by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association, the event returns to its traditional January slot after a successful 2025 edition that drew massive crowds and generated up to $370 million in economic impact. Tickets are now on sale, with public access starting January 17.

Schedule

Media and Industry Days occur on January 14-15, including the Mobility Global Forum for executive discussions on automotive trends. https://detroitautoshow.com/ Charity Preview follows on January 16, headlined by Robin Thicke with Detroit artists Trick Trick, DJ Rimarkable, and emcee Jalen Rose to benefit children’s charities that have raised over $125 million since 1976.

Public show days span January 17-25, with varying hours like 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and closing at 7 p.m. on the final Sunday.

Who is taking part?

Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Stellantis, and Toyota have committed to exhibits, underscoring Detroit’s role in the global industry. Additional brands will be announced throughout late 2025. Levegh makes its exclusive U.S. debut with handcrafted 1/8-scale models, including a Ferrari 250 GTO auctioned at The Gallery on January 13 to support Forgotten Harvest.

The Powering Michigan EV Experience offers indoor test drives on a serpentine track with a 300-foot acceleration lane. https://detroitautoshow/ Racing Day partners with the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix for demos and IndyCar sessions, while The Gallery showcases over 50 ultra-luxury vehicles. Industry Partnerships and Buzz

SAE International co-sponsors Media and Industry Days, directing ticket proceeds to STEM programs for PreK-university students.
