Hi everyone! Welcome back to another article by neftin mazda, and today I had the chance to check out the newly launched 2025 Kia EV3. Let me share my personal experience and insights on this compact electric SUV that’s making headlines in the EV market.

First Impressions

The 2025 Kia EV3 is a fresh addition to Kia’s electric vehicle lineup. When I first saw it, I noticed it has a bit of a family resemblance to its siblings, the EV6 and EV9. However, the EV3 is a compact version, designed to open up a new segment for Kia’s EV offerings.

The front of the EV3 has a unique, blocky look. The headlamps, daylight running lights, and the big bumper give it a sturdy appearance. Despite being smaller than the Kia Niro, the EV3’s proportions make it look quite substantial.

Sleek and Streamlined Design

Moving to the side, the EV3 is streamlined and stylish. I particularly liked the GT line’s color scheme and the prominent arch design over the 19-inch wheels. The wheels look larger than they are, thanks to the design. The floating roof design adds to the car’s sleek look, extending the roofline and giving it a sporty vibe.

The flush door handles are a neat feature, especially on the second passenger seat, where they are even more discreet. The back of the car has a minimal yet sporty design, with the roof extending all the way to the end, giving it a plump and robust look.

Interior Space and Comfort

When I opened the trunk, I found it smaller than larger SUVs, but still spacious enough for a compact SUV. The design allows for more storage if you fold down the second-row seats, making it quite practical for its size.

Under the hood, the EV3 has a clean and spacious “frunk” (front trunk). It’s deeper than I expected, making it perfect for storing gym clothes, sneakers, and charging cables. Inside the car, the center console is pushed back, creating more space. The materials used, including fabric and metallic accents, give the interior a cozy and modern feel.

Tech and Features

The dashboard features two 12.3-inch screens merged together, with a touchscreen for HVAC controls in the middle. This setup reminded me of the EV9, as did the gear lever. The steering wheel and dashboard elements are designed to enhance the driver’s visibility, keeping the layout simple and functional.

The seats are slim but comfortable, providing good lumbar support. The storage options in the center console include two cup holders and a pull-out table-like feature, which is handy for using a laptop or having a snack while charging the car.

Rear Seat Experience

In the back, the EV3 offers a comfortable seating experience with plenty of cushion and space. The absence of a center tunnel means more foot space, and the center armrest with cup holders adds to the convenience. There are also charging ports on both sides of the front seats, and a sunroof over the first row, which is a nice touch.

Final Thoughts

The Kia EV3 standard model has a lot to offer, with some differences from the GT line in design cues. The long-range models promise up to 500 km on a full charge, making it a competitive option in the electric SUV market.

Overall, the 2025 Kia EV3 left a positive impression on me. It’s compact yet spacious, stylish yet practical, and packed with useful features.

I’m excited to see how it performs on the road during our upcoming test drive. Stay tuned for more updates, and let me know what you think about the Kia EV3 in the comments!
